The hospital is situated in Kapsowar, on the eastern edge of the Cherangani Hills, overlooking the Kerio Valley, Kapsowar Mission Hospital is a 126-bed facility offering a wide range of medical services including general surgery, pediatrics, maternity care, and internal medicine. The hospital also operates mobile maternal and child health clinics that travel to centers up to 90 kilometers away and runs four dispensaries to provide basic healthcare to the local community. Each year, the hospital handles approximately 4,000 inpatient admissions and 15,000 outpatient visits. The hospital has a busy obstetric department, delivering around 300 babies per month, with a high rate of C-sections.
